Operations Manager
 
Responsibilities

o Reporting to the General Director and Project Managers and serving as a member of the Management Team along with the General Director and Project managers, with primary responsibility in ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organization's IT Service Desk
o Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning
o Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions
o Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence
o Oversee overall service management, planning, systems and controls
o Organization of fiscal documents
o Regular meetings with Executive Director and Project Managers
o Supervise and coach Service Desk Manager on a weekly basis

Skills

o Technical/IT Higher University background
o Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT and Telecommunication field
o Minimum 2 years of experience in Management role
o Excellent communication skills
o Fluent in Azerbaijani and English. Knowledge of Russian is an advantage
o ITIL Certified
