JOB SUMMARY
Effective management of the company’s Health & Safety Strategy with strong focus on continuous improvement and preventative measures. Leads and drives a progressive approach to Health & Safety by implementing systems and enhancing local practices, processes, tools, and training programs needed to ensure total effectiveness
JOB DUTIES
• Develop and implement Health & Safety systems to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with local regulations and Holcim requirements
• Collaborate with operational managers as well as HR to establish safety performance standards / targets
• Provide ongoing Risks Assessment and propose corrective actions to ensure compliance and drive toward zero injuries
• Identify safety training needs and implement programs to ensure continuous improvement of employee health and safety performance and nurture a positive safety culture
• Participate in safety reviews/audits of projects, new facilities, equipment
• Ensure contractors comply with company OH&S rules and regulations as well as legislative requirements
• Manage the OH&S team and further develop the people within the scope of responsibility
REQUIREMENTS
• Knowledge of HSE procedures and relevant legislation (local and international standarts)
• Incident investigation / Audit / Reporting
• Professional knowledge in Risk assessment, OH&S in Workplace, Environmental Health, Fire Safety and etc.
• Training facilitation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English, Azerbaijani and Russian
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ERP experience would be considered an advantage

Education & Experience
• University Degree in Engineering or eq.
• Professional Diploma in Safety Management (NEBOSH or eq.)
• At least 4 years experience in OH&S management role in production field
