AMEC is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Materials and Logistics Coordinator (National).

The successful candidates should have:

• Must have materials and personal logistics experience
• Excellent English and Azeri ( verbal and written )
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project / regulatory, policies, working practices and procedures relating to the Materials  function ensuring at all times that the workscope is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Participate in and practice fully the requirements for total safety during all operations.
• Manage Storage facilities ensuring these are organised in a safe manner, kept clean and maintained to a high standard.
• Receive into stores, inspect record and report receipt of consumables, materials, plant and equipment in line with applicable suppliers / project procedures.
• Issue from storage consumables, materials, plant and equipment in a timely manner to support the construction / commissioning schedule.
• Understand and implement regulatory working practices and procedures (for example: COSHH) relating to the handling of dangerous goods / chemicals ensuring these are stored correctly and impose no harm to personnel or environment.
• Assist with the reconciliation of surplus material and preparation for backload.
• Maintain all documentation relating to the stores function in accordance with company requirements.
• Prepare manifests / shipping notifications, including those required for dangerous goods to be shipped by sea and air
• At all times demonstrate principles of HR Core Behaviours and Attitude
• Develop positive customer relationships with project & departmental managers and workers.
• Ensure all workers have appropriate medical, offshore survival, induction and project specific requirements prior to mobilisation.
• Liaise with or book accommodation if required
• Liaise with HR regarding visa applications
• Track and administer weekly crew change in terms of POB listings.
• Record leave requirements & Holiday chart
• Call up labour for mobilisation
• Advise labour of check-in time and accommodation of required
• Take part in Emergency Response Training, Exercises and Incidents
• Prepare daily/ weekly reports (standby, timesheets, etc.)
