Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review and negotiate wide range of contracts, including client agreements, vendor contracts and NDAs;
  • Work in collaboration with all service lines to clarify and define contractual terms and conditions with the aim to protect the Firm’s interest through well-crafted agreements;
  • Ensure legal compliance within the Firm;
  • Maintain contracts register;
  • Conduct KYC, conflict of interest and client-acceptance processes;
  • Participate in dispute resolution when necessary;
  • Research legislation to provide legal support to other departments;
  • Develop and deliver internal compliance programmes;
  • Proofread and translate technical documents.

Duties:

  • Represent BDO in a professional manner at all times through punctuality & appearance;
  • Maintain accurate registers and folders;
  • Be proactive and promote a culture of compliance;
  • Meet the Firm’s expectations and project deadlines.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B) from a leading law school;
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani, Russian and English;
  • 2 years of experience in relevant field;
  • Good communication, writing and time management skills;
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently;
  • Problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products;
  • Honesty, integrity and professional ethics.
