Information about the job:

• We are seeking a Project Manager with at least 2 years of experience in software development project management
• The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing software development projects from conception to delivery
• Develop detailed project plans to track progress and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Provide technical direction and support to project teams
• Ensure that all projects are delivered using suitable methodologies and technologies
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Communicate project objectives, scope, and progress to all stakeholders effectively.
• Identify project risks and devise strategies to mitigate them
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Ensure that all products and services meet quality standards and client expectations
• Oversee the development and maintenance of quality assurance protocols

Candidate requirements:

• Understanding of software development life cycles, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), and modern software development practices
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello), and basic knowledge of programming languages and database systems
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage software development teams
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders
• Proficient in problem-solving and critical thinking, with the ability to make decisions under pressure
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in project management within a software development environment
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful software development project throughout its lifecycle
• PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams

Job location: Demirchi Plaza, 23rd floor

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00

Salary range: 1300-1900 AZN
