Payroll Specialist

What is expected from the candidate:

• Calculating monthly staff salary, bonuses, overtime payments, tax deductions, etc.;
• Calculating and processing of vacation leaves and sick leaves etc.;
• Collecting timesheet data and payroll information from Line Managers;
• Ensuring accuracy of the timesheets and payroll related information;                                                                                                                   
• Managing and following-up vacation requires and vacation balance information;
• Preparing monthly and quarterly statistic reports related to the payroll to Finance Department;
• Preparing salary statements;
• Ordering and providing new employees with salary cards;
• Addressing and resolving employee complaints relating to the payroll system;
• Working with company database programs to process payroll;
• Processing final payment for terminated employees;   
• Preparing financial reports for auditing purposes;                                                                                                                                                                            
• Preparing periodic payroll reconciliation and submitting reports to Line Manager for review. 

What qualifications the candidate need to possess:

• A high school diploma in a related field;
• 2-3 years' experience working in payroll role;
• Working knowledge of SAP software practices is preferred;
• Communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong organizational and time management skills;
• High analytical  aptitude skills and being detail-oriented;
• Language skills: Azerbaijani and English is must, Russian languages are preferable.
