The Swiss Cooperation Office for the South Caucasus is part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland and is tasked to coordinate and oversee the activities of the Swiss-funded bilateral grant projects of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO in the field of development cooperation.

SCO Baku office is pleased to announce a job opening for the position of a Driver.

Duty station: Baku

Working hours: Full time

Responsibilities shall include:

• Driving SCO office staff and external visitors in the capital and the regions of Azerbaijan, as well as in other countries of the South Caucasus
• Regular servicing and maintenance of vehicles
• Washing and keeping order in cars
• Delivering / picking up mail, documents, etc.
• Performing various kinds of logistical tasks as instructed.

Necessary qualifications:

• Valid driving license
• At least 5 years of working experience
• Spoken level of English language and basic computer literacy are a must
• Previous experience in servicing VIPs at government or diplomatic level or in international organizations is considered as an advantage
• At least two references
• Good understanding of the vehicle structure/system
• Experience in travel through the South Caucasus region and off-road driving will be an asset
• Flexibility with regard to work overtime (incl. during weekends)
• Good verbal, interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-organization and punctuality
