Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the Company’s Policies and Procedures with special focus on Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental issues.
  • Maintain QA/QC database(s) as outlined by Company’s Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform inspection QA/QC checks on equipment received into Company warehouse.
  • Liaise with third party vendors on equipment inspections and to clarify QA/QC queries.
  • Develop, implement and maintain spreadsheets databases required for tracking equipment QA/QC needs.
  • Actively participate and contribute to Maintenance and Materials department meetings and discussion groups.
  • Provide support to on/offshore Maintenance and Materials function.
  • Physically check spares and equipment received from suppliers to ensure that QA/QC requirements are adhered to.
  • Comply with all relevant PPE and other Safety-related requirements.
  • Assist in general departmental or company activities as and when requested and agreed with line supervisors.
  • Report any Overage, Shortage, Damage or otherwise non-Conforming consignments to line supervisors.
  • Assist in packing of CCU’s to relevant standards and guidelines.
  • Assist the QA/QC and Certification Coordinator function as required during peak periods, absence etc.

Key Skills/Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of SCM policy, practice, procedure, and principles.
  • Well-organized, proactive, and a good communicator.
  • Commitment to safe working practices, policies, and legislation.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Confidence in learning how to use a range of different software packages.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent team-working abilities.
  • Enthusiastic and hardworking.
  • Strong Advantage: Proficiency in SAP (supply chain related transactions).
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani and intermediate knowledge of the English language (both verbal and written).
  • Required: 2 years of experience in similar role within Oil and Gas or large process industry (petrochemical, pharmaceutical, utilities, CPG, or food).
