AMEC is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Receptionist.

The successful candidates should have:

• 1 year relevant working experience
• Good communicator
• Able to work as member of a team
• English language knowledge is essential

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• Meet all visitors and forward them to appropriate personnel.
• Provide office HSE Induction to visitors entering inside Amec office.
• Being part of emergency response team, to be able to print the personnel sign in-out list in case of office emergency.
• Operate console switchboard.  Place outgoing calls, answer incoming calls, forward calls to party, take messages, when necessary, notify (by phone) employees that visitors have arrived.
• Pass messages on to a) party called b) secretary or other appropriate person or c) may take messages for absent employees.
• May give orientation on telephone system usage to new employees
• Receive packages, letters, etc., as required. Sign for parcels when necessary.
• Update monthly extension listings - ensure they are distributed
• May type memos, letters, listings, etc., as backup to other departments and may organize/alphabetize filing for other work groups.
• May order/maintain library of out-of-town phone books
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
