Payroll Specialist

Main duties:

• Calculation of monthly salary;
• Managing salary card process;
• Managing employees' accumulated extra-day balances;
• Closing of all timesheets before the end of month;
• Calculating sick leave, unemployment, and workers' compensation, as well as social security payments.
• Preparation and calculation of business trip expenses;
• Calculation of bonuses and employee support fund;
• Calculation of vacations, final payments, and employee compensations;
• Preparation of related orders, protocols, documents for SSPF;
• Preparation of reports for Coins related to payroll;
• Making relevant deductions from employees' salaries due to court cases;
• Preparing and monitoring Life insurance contracts and monthly payment;
• Creating a statistics report for the tax team;
• Posting extra day off requests to 1C;
• Preparing quarterly tax report for tax team;
• Annual/ quarterly budget preparation and updating;
• Assisting Finance department with payroll report clarification;
• Creating other required reports and forms;
• Assisting HR colleagues as needed (due to absence, sickness, vacation and etc.);
• Follow the Line Manager’s instructions;

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or a related field (Master's degree is preferred);
• 2-3 years of related work experience in payroll or a similar role;
• In-depth knowledge of payroll principles and practices;
• Advance knowledge on Labor Code and local legislation;
• Excellent organizing abilities and attention to detail;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and 1C is required;
• Knowledge of COINS ERP system is a strong advantage;
• Great attention to detail and confidentiality;
• Knowledge of general HR practices required;
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Azerbaijani language (knowledge of Russian and English is an advantage).
