Role synopsis BP Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey Region (AGTR) invites highly experienced professionals to apply to Business Services Manager role reporting to Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) AGT. The role combines Business Property, Housing, Land Transportation and Travel, The International School of Azerbaijan (TISA) Business Development teams and oversees the planning, management and delivery of business services to AGT Region. This position will have accountability for developing a comprehensive business services framework for the team, including creation of models and processes in support of business services activities and development of the organization and capability for execution. In addition, Business Services Manager will manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Key accountabilities
As Business Services Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
Performance:
• Lead the Business Services teams, establish and align the strategy for delivery, provide leadership and direct resources as required
• Act as a focal point for Group, Segment and Regional requests
• Oversee budget for business services activities, deliver robust cost management and minimize business risk via rigorous contract management control
People:
• Proactively build external relationships within region and cross industry peers.
• Align large numbers of staff in 2 countries (Azerbaijan and Georgia), teams, disciplines, and suppliers in implementing a common process for business services activities
• Develop measures and monitors annual performance and resource plan for the team, ensuring that all enablers required for delivery are available.
• Effectively cooperate with key business stakeholders to ensure alignment of PSCM and the internal customer
HSSE:
• Champion HSSE and promote compliance with BP's Code of Conduct, ensure business sourcing strategy is linked to BP safety standards
Essential Education
• University degree, preferred MBA
Essential experience and job requirements
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the management of business services, including facilities management
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing people
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Management (preferably in Business Services)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in overseeing procurement activities
