POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY

Ensure growth/revenue targets are met for key customer segments by gathering customer insights and identifying value-added solutions and messages for key, non-traditional, and organized customers that will address customer needs and meet the agreed ROI threshold.

• Clarify/prioritize/agree key customer segments/groups
• Develop solutions to support in country key account managers who call on non-HCP customers or large organized customers (e,g., hospital administrators, nursing home managers, physician  net works /group practices, public services, etc.) ; customer marketers are support to account managers (like brand leads are the support to the FF)
• Work with brand marketing to ensure tight linkage between customer needs and brand/disease/TA messages – bring ideas from the customer to the brand team and advocates for support or funding from the brand team (where needed)
• Develop and execute value-added programs meeting ROI threshold set by CM
• Forecast key customer performance and track progress towards target
• Allocate and execute in country commercial solutions budget

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Accountable

• Gather insight about customers with non-traditional roles who have population based influence
• Utilize this insight to paint the ‘bigger picture’ for the cross-functional teams of which we are an integral part
• Create, shape or re-package proven messages and solutions within and across markets, to enable Account and Network Teams to have more meaningful and compelling interactions, that meet customer and Pfizer objectives
• Promo meetings: Invite participants; Host meeting, follow-up with attendees and PR; ensure compliance with relevant SOP’s Shared
• Define in-country marketing priorities (w/ in-country brand marketing)
• Ensure growth and/or revenue targets achieved for key customer segments (w/ key accounts)
• Formally share  practices across  countries /regions in order to reduce program cost and  to optimize s synergies

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• B-degree in Science, Humanities, Commerce or equivalent
• Masters in Business Administration (MBA) would be an added advantage
• 6-8 years experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
• 8-10  years experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, including in marketing and sales management experience.
