AMEC is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Lifting Coordinator (National)

The successful candidates should have:

• At least 5 years years relevant project construction experience at Lifting Supervisor level
• Understanding of LOLER
• Familiar with HSE practices in relation to role, as well as compliance with all HSE policies across the board.
• A good knowledge of Lifting Processes and Procedures
• Ability to work people at all levels
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Understanding of inter-disciplines and be capable of supporting these.
• Display positive personal safety attitude at all times
• Computer literate

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• Plan & control work activities
• Supervise team
• Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the rigging / erection work scope is completed, in compliance with LOLER and to a high standard of safety.
• Development/approval of lifting plans.
• Complete all work scope in accordance with applicable workpack / jobcard instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches.
• Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete work scope in a safe and controlled manner.
• Deliver Tool Box Talks
• Conduct Meetings
• Ensure PTW system is adhered to.
• Ensure job cards are completed and accurate progress reported.
• Completion of probationary evaluations and assessments.
