Intertek Azerbaijan provides an extensive range of professional testing and inspection services to Azerbaijan and global customers. Intertek Azerbaijan brings quality and quantity control services to the petroleum, chemicals, food & water, agricultural and cotton export industries. So, we have several vacant places in Laboratory chemist position for off-shore oil rig laboratory. According to Azerbaijan Labor Law Code workers are getting all necessary support from the Company.

İntertek is seeking an experienced Chemist to contribute to the growth and success of our customers by ensuring raw materials

Requires but is not limited to the following abilities:

- Local citizen
- must have at the minimum, bachelor degree in chemistry (master's degree preferred)
- The ability to concentrate on detail;
- The ability to work independently;
- Having precise attention to detail; superb ability for accuracy, computer proficiency; ability to communicate clearly both orally and by writing in English (at least pre-intermediate level of English is must) and Azeri languages.
- Experience 1-3 years  in lab work with all specificity is must

Responsibilities:

- Analyze petroleum and petroleum products to determine chemical and physical properties and compositions
-  Implement test procedure for analyzing and determination of different products properties and compositions in lab environmental, interpreter test results.
- Offshore oil field operations like crude processing, phase separation, produced water treatment, laboratory management, chemicals supply, chemical programs assurance, base stocks for lubricants, waxes, hydrocarbon solvents, insulating oils, refining
