The British Council is the United Kingdom’s international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations.  We operate in 109 countries.  Our purpose is to build mutually beneficial relationships between people in the UK and other countries and increase appreciation of the UK’s creative ideas and achievements.

We are looking for experienced professional to fill the position of Education Manager.

The Education Manager will:

• deliver projects that maintain and strengthen the position of the British Council as the key organisation for international collaboration between Azerbaijan and UK through effective management of key relationships in education.
• manage the British Council Azerbaijan education portfolio, growing our business in education and developing new customer facing services.
• pursue and negotiate partnerships with a range of partners to increase the British Council presence and impact in Azerbaijan.
• develop links and collaboration between HE institutions in Azerbaijan and the UK.

Requirements:

Successful applicants will need to be able to travel within Azerbaijan, to UK and other countries on business and to attend evening and weekend events.

Benefits:

Post will benefit from 1 year full-time contract which may be extended, a medical insurance package, and annual defined leave allowance.  Post will be appointed at British Council Grade G and starting annual salary will be AZN 22,530.00. Successful candidate will need to start work with us as soon as possible.
