AMEC is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Piping Supervisor.

The successful candidate should have:

• Trade background
• 5 years site experience
• Read and Interpret drawings and P&ID’s
• Understand specifications
• Identify materials against specifications
• Strong safety leadership qualities
• Good trade and industry knowledge
• Good Trades leadership qualities

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• To supervise construction activities directly related to piping & structural activities & also responsible for multi discipline teams inclusive direct hire & subcontractors
• Liaise with client, company and third party representatives ensuring that the company responsibilities are carried out on site
• Plan and organise the work ensuring that the necessary resource are available and fit for purpose
• Plan and organise the team to carry out the work
• Ensure the workforce adhere to the safe working practices as indicated in the company procedures
• Ensure that the workforce maintain a high standard of productivity
• Maintain the information loop between colleagues and other disciplines / departments
• Time-write for the workforce and maintain accurate records
• Oversee the team, manage resources and maintain records
• Ensure systems are built as per the latest rev workpacks
• Manage jobcards and accurately report on progress
• Manage certification, documentation, reporting, (daily / weekly)
• Liaise with discipline engineers in all aspects of work scheduling, planning, QC, materials and resolution of problems
• Review and evaluate the existing and future workscopes and associated workpacks
• Reading and interpreting drawings, (including other disciplines where required)
• Adhere to ‘permit to work’ regulations
• Plan and chair safety meetings / tool box talks / risk assessments
• Complete company accident / incident reports
