Software Engineer (Operation Technologies)

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the development, implementation and continuity of products and/or services within the framework of Production and Operational needs by using Software Engineering techniques;
• Taking an active role in Operation Technologies system and integration processes, following the life cycle. Documentation of integration platform interface requirements, commissioning of related interfaces;
• Developing the reports required by the users of the refinery main business lines, such as Production, Maintenance, Process, Planning, HSE etc., which will consist of the consolidation of the data in the relevant systems, performing the activities of the process and updating them when necessary. In this framework, commissioning of the relevant reports in line with the demands of the Business Unit
• Creation, development and commissioning of mock-ups in Operation Technologies BI/BO visualizations;
• Creation, implementation and smooth commissioning of unit test scenarios for developments to be made within the scope of responsibility. Creation of user guides on developments made in a standard way;
• Supporting applications within the scope of responsibility and carrying out improvement activities, fulfilling life cycle actions;
• Realization of related new software projects, developments and related integration requirements within the scope of responsibility;
• Performing database systems activities (architectural design, modelling and development) within the area of ​​responsibility;
• To act in accordance with the company's policies, mission, vision, corporate values, legal and other requirements as well as company ethical rules, policies, procedures, instructions, strategies and objectives; ensuring the adoption and dissemination of the relevant rules, policies and other requirements by the personnel in the positions under it; Informing the relevant units in case of any discrepancies observed within the company on these issues;
• To behave in accordance with the Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Culture, to comply with the rules of occupational health and safety, to notify the person in the senior position and the authorized personnel on OHS when a nonconformity is detected.

Requirements:

• Masters or Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Programming or a related discipline; 
• Minimum 1-5 years of relevant experience;

• Web Service Development (REST/SOAP API);
• OOP Languages (C#, .NET, Java); 
• Scripting Languages (Javascript, NodeJS, Python);
• FE Technologies (React JS, Angular, Vue JS, Flutter);
• DBMS (SQL / No-SQL);
• Reporting Services (SSRS, Tableau, Metabase);
• DevOps - CI/CD knowledge;
• Visualization Platforms (Power BI, Dundas BI, Google Charts, Highcharts);
• Middleware Knowledge;
• Micro Services;
• SDLC;
• Project Management (Waterfall, Agile-Scrum);
• JIRA / Confluence knowledge;
• Vendor Management;
• Microsoft Office knowledge.
