Experienced Translator needed (English - Azerbaijan and vise versa)

Languages Required : English, Azerbaijan, Russian

Duties and Responsibilities

∙ Translating assigned documents in timely manner and ensuring high quality standards;
∙ Translating/interpreting during meetings, events and other project and office related activities;
∙ Reading through original material and rewriting it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained;
∙ Using specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalents for legal, technical, scientific and similar terminology and words used;
∙ Proofreading and editing final translated versions;
∙ Using the internet and email as research tools throughout the translation process;
∙ Prioritizing work to meet deadlines;
∙ Consulting with experts in specialist areas;
∙ Perform other duties as requested.

Overall Requirements

∙ Bachelor's Degree
∙ Excellent oral and written translation skills
∙ Excellent creative and effective writing skills;
∙ Good computer skills;
∙ Minimum of 3 years proven experience in a similar position;
∙ Fluency in English, Azeri and Russian;
∙ Able to work independently;
∙ Good interpersonal relations
∙ Adherence to schedules and deadlines;
