Vacant Position: Senior specialist (Training and development) of Training, Motivation and Effectiveness management division at Human Resources Department

Based in Baku, Company Head Office

Reporting Line: Head of Training, Motivation and Effectiveness Management division

Job Description  

• identifying training and development needs within an organisation through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources department;
• prepare training budget for department or organization;
• designing and developing training and development programmes based on both the organisation's and the individual's needs;
• considering the costs of planned programmes and keeping within budgets as assessing the return on investment of any training or development programme is becoming increasingly important;
• working in a team to produce programmes that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in an organization;
• developing effective induction programmes;
• devising individual learning plans;
• producing training materials for in-house courses;
• organizing the delivery of training and development programmes and, in a more senior role, devising a training strategy for the organization in a team;
• monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers;
• ensuring that statutory training requirements are met;
• evaluating training and development programmes;
• keeping up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses;
• having an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the creation and/or delivery or e-learning packages;
• develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.

Requirements  

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, (HRM and Education policy is preferable)
• Professional command of Azerbaijani, English and Russian
• At least 1 year experience in Training&Development. 2 years experience in HRM (preferable)
• Good knowledge of education and training strategy
• Ability to independently lead the work, work with management and provide specific recommendations/solutions
• Good presentation, writing and reporting skills
• Advance Excel, good MS office and internet research skills
• Ability to prioritize work and self-organize
• High working discipline and business ethics
• Ability to travel
