Position overview:

• The lawyer is responsible for analyzing, drafting, and interpreting different local and international agreements, as well as laws, by-laws, rulings and regulations, managing the case files for each violation of the law and the rules related to anti-doping.  

Key responsibilities:

• draft and review different contracts (commercial, procurement, logistics etc.) and other legal documents;
• interpret laws, rulings and regulations;
• conduct legal research and gather evidence;
• prepare notices, minutes and other relevant procedural documentation;
• prepare personal case files of each person suspected in the commission of anti-doping rule violations;
• manage proceedings initiated against them in a due and timely manner;
• analyze the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents;
• follow compliance with international regulations;
• implement other tasks requested by the Head of the Legal Department.

Required skills, knowledge and experience:

• University degree in law (LL.M degree is preferred);
• minimum one (3) years of experience;
• essential soft skills (good communication skills);
• good legal analysis skills;
• ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently;
• good problem-solving skills;
• good legal writing skills;
• good understanding of and compliance with internal rules (professional code, ethics, conflict of interest etc.)
• good command of Azerbaijani and English languages (advanced)

Net salary: 1700 AZN

Quarterly bonuses (up to 100% of salary) depending on the quality of work.
