How you can influence the company’s development:
- keeping accounting and tax records
- preparing and timely submitting prescribed statements
- organizing the maintenance of the company’s HR accounting
- timely period end closing in the accounting system and preparing information for compiling the package of management reports
- keeping record of the company’s revenues and expenditures by areas and in terms of management items
- preparing a package of management reports
- automating processes of financial and management accounting and preparing reports together with the head office team
- tax planning and tax risk control
- participating in the budgeting process and developing financial forecasts
- cost analysis and control over the use of the company’s financial resources
- preparing the company’s cash flow plan
Challenges for 3 months:
- analysing the company’s activities and organizing accounting from scratch
- correct execution of the company’s all major transactions (revenue recognition and mutual settlements with drivers/car fleet; documentation, VAT accounting)
- timely preparation and submission of reports to controlling bodies
- timely period end closing and providing information to head office for preparation of consolidated statements
You will need the following experience and knowledge:
- 5 years’ experience as a chief accountant
- financial, mathematical or accounting education
- high-level knowledge of accounting and reporting standards
- excellent knowledge of accounting, tax and labour legislation of Azerbaijan
- experience in book-keeping of all areas
- experience in passing revisions by controlling bodies
- analytical skills for formulating terms of reference and implementing automation processes
- confident user: MS Office, G-Suite, 1C
- preferably IFRS knowledge
- Russian or English language skills
What are the cooperation conditions?
- 8-hour working day, from 09:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m.
- cooperation according to the legislation of Azerbaijan
