Technical Support Engineer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Engineering and maintenance of Mediation and interconnect & Roaming systems for Telecom operator
• Support of their proprietary solutions within a hosted environment and within service levels
• Incident troubleshooting and investigation of web, software and hardware issues;
• Record incidents and requests accurately and in a suitable timeframe, providing updates to stakeholders per contractual SLA’s
• Report to team leader and PM on the progress and escalate any difficulties
• Work proactively with customer during project to fulfill huawei’s responsibility and raise customer satisfaction
• Independent, and with minimal guidance needed.
• Able to handle multi-tasks and work under pressure.
• Able to communicate effectively in English
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENT
• Bachelor degree or above on computer, information technology, telecommunication or electricity.
• Knowledge or preferably hands-on knowledge on Linux/Unix OS, Windows OS, Oracle DB, SQL/PL SQL.
• 3+ year in Telecomm industry with minimum 2 year development, technical or maintenance experience of telecommunication IT application, BSS or VAS.
• Experience with popular BSS solution of telecomm industry is preferred.
• Effective leaner, self motivated and object oriented.
