Position name : Electrical Engineer.

Reports to : Plant Manager and Area supervisor.

Subordinates : Electricians, other workers at workplace.

Knowledge requirements:

• mechanical components and machinery, general machinery, particularly in the electric power, technical features and working principles
• electronic components and functions
• pneumatic and hydraulic application of the rules of the movements
• digital and automatic control
• basic usage level of Its
• occupational health, safety, fire safety rules and standards

Duties & Responsibilities:

• servicing and maintaining equipment
• daily monitoring, repair and maintenance
• reading design specifications and technical drawings
• designing and conducting tests
• proposing modifications and retesting products
• monitoring product in use to prevent future crashes
• preparing reports on equipments status
• carrying out routine tasks associated with specific brands
• suggesting suitable solutions and estimating costs and timescales
• learning and being informed about innovations of automobiles & machinery, construction equipments
• identifying customer requirements, liaising with clients and contractors
• professionally communicating to customers
• to be able to draw models and prototypes of products (maybe using three-dimensional design software)
• Attending meetings on site.
