Key Responsibilities: 

• Install, configure and maintain Linux and Windows server operating systems
• Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs
• Maintain best practices in managing systems and services across all environments
• Ensure compliance with security standards
• Analyze and resolve problems associated with the OS, applications and hardware
• Proactively monitor system performance and capacity planning
• Backup and restore servers, applications or files
• Manage, and implement OS and software upgrades and patches, on servers and workstations
• Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
• Improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
• Develop, implement, test and maintain disaster recovery plans

Requirements: 

• Experience as a System Administrator for 3+ years
• In-depth knowledge of RedHat, CentOS, Debian and Windows Server
• Hands-on experience with Apache, Nginx, MySQL, Bind, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, etc.
• Familiarity with VMWare and SAN Storage
• Scripting (Shell and/or Python)
• Configuration Management tools
• Solid knowledge of main protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP, etc.
• Knowledge of server and application backup concepts
• Understanding of TCP/IP 
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
