PASHA Holding invites experienced candidates to fill the position of Network and Linux Systems Administrator.

Requirements:

• At least 3+ year of experience in the IT systems administration field;
• Degree in Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Information Systems;
• Experience with network equipment, CISCO and Red Hat Linux operating system;
• Experience writing scripts (e.g., Shell, Python and PERL) to automate administration functions and to parse files;
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining systems (both in a physical and virtual environment);
• Ability to work from a Command Line Interface (CLI) are required;
• Organizational skills, ability to perform in a professional manner;
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English; knowledge of other foreign languages is desirable;
• Must have strong analytical skills to understand a large and complex ad delivery ecosystem;
• Detail oriented with the good problem solving skills;
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team;
• Knowledge of all below listed programs and operations is must:
• CISCO, Linux systems
• Network services (NIS, DNS, LDAP, etc.)J2EE (Servlets, JSP)
• managing configurations,
• troubleshooting
• monitoring status of systems and applications, etc.
• support installed applications

Knowledge of Oracle or IBM DB2 database administration would be an advantage.

Position Summary:

• Take primary responsibility for hardware and software installation and support of company network and Linux workstations and servers;
•  Perform general system and network maintenance and support; 
•  Install, upgrade and maintain hardware, software and peripherals;
•  Troubleshoot problems with hardware, software and networks;
•  Identify tasks which require automation and automate them;
•  Evaluate and qualify relevant new technologies and suggestions from end-users;
• Produce documentation and provide training for end-users and colleagues if requested;
• Resolve support requests and serve as escalation point for Linux and networking issues;

Work schedule: 09:00-18:00; 5 days a week.
