Responsibilities:
- Journal entries
- Payroll calculation and salary payments
- AP/AR management
- Cash management – providing advances, reimbursements and payments, bank withdrawals
- Dispensing petty cash for daily project expenses
- Calculating any personal debt for reimbursement to the organization
- Month end closing (necessary reconciliations, Bank, Cash, Donors, Suppliers, Customers etc.)
- Preparation of Periodic Statutory reports (Ministry of Taxes, Ministry of Finances, Cabinet of Ministers, etc.)
- Preparation of Financial Reports to Donors
- Prepare monthly management reports per projects as per the Director’s requirement
- Manage internal and external audits under the supervision of Finance Manager
Administrative responsibilities:
- Opening/closing office where necessary
- Liaising with landlord over rental issues
- Time sheets management, processing holiday leaves, mission forms, expenses reports
- Supervising purchasing and stock control system for refreshments, stationery and cleaning products
Job Essentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance, or related fields
- At least 2 years of experience in the financial accounting
- Certified qualifications in accounting practices (desired)
- Fluency in English/Azerbaijani languages
- Regional travel may be required
