Position name: Accountant (Shamkir and Siyazan)

Reports to: Subsidiary Director

Duties and Responsibilities

• Proficiency in local tax legislation and statutory accounting;
• Ensures precise calculations and timely transfers of contributions to the state budget and social allocations to the State Social Fund;
• Handling full set of Internal/External financial reports;
• Preparation of statistical reports;
• Timely closing of reporting periods and timely preparation of statutory information for tax and financial reporting purposes
• Handle all day to day operation of the accounting office
• Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and analysis;
• Provide every support to external auditors and deal with all queries on a highly professional level
• Work closely with Senior Management within Subsidiary as well as with Finance team on a corporate level
• Respond to changes in departmental functions as dictated by the management;
• Acting as a department team member and involve in projecting a good personal/department and company image;
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times;
• Perform other related duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience
• Higher education in Accounting or Fianace
• Work Experience: at least 3 years in accounting and/or audit

• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities
• Ability to work under pressure and in flexible working hours
• Adaptation to change
• Fluent in spoken and written Azerbaijani and preferably English and with an excellent command of written and spoken Russian
• Excellent Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Internet, etc.)

Salary: 600 - 700 AZN net
