Translator/Interpreter

Job Duties:

• Provide translation and proofreading for official correspondence, and documents including, reports, minutes, proposals, presentation slides, study/training documents and materials.
• Consecutive interpretation at training sessions, workshops, conferences, site visits. 
• Provide interpretation support at meetings with the government officials and subcontractors
• Provide interpretation support during teleconference calls with the Customer and pertinent Contractors.
• Additional assignments as requested by the management or his/her designate
Requirements:
• Excellent oral and written communications skills in both Azerbaijani and English.
• Experience in consecutive interpretation in both Azerbaijani and English.
• Previous translation/interpretation experience in medical, biological, veterinary and engineering/maintenance fields.
• Creativity, flexibility, the ability to multi-task while paying attention to execution and detail.
• Ability to support different sectors, and to quickly grasp new ideas and challenges.
• Willingness and availability to travel with a team member to meetings in regions across Azerbaijan.
• Educational background in linguistics or related field a plus.
• Knowledge of Russian a plus.
• The preference will be given to the candidates with the respective background in medical, biological, veterinary and engineering/maintenance fields.

Age: 25-35
Salary: 1300-1500 AZN
