Position title: DevOps engineer
Duties and responsibilities
• Implement integrations requested by customers
• Deploy updates and fixes
• Provide Level 2 technical support
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Develop scripts to automate visualization
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Troubleshoot existing services and platforms to identify bugs and develop solutions
• Automate parts of the development delivery process using CI/CD tools
• Participate as a member in project team
• Reduce deployment related incidents
• Use various tools to orchestrate solutions
• Understand how various systems work
• Be available 24/7
Education and experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or MS in Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in managing Linux based infrastructure
• Experience at least in one scripting language
Skills
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, tools and methodologies included and used in Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player, interpersonal and communication skills
• Client-facing and internal communication skills
• Written and verbal communication skills (Azerbaijani, English)
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
