Position Summary:

- 2 years minimum of MySQL DBA experience.

Responsibilities:

- Deep understanding of Database tuning: INNODB stats, correlating it with OS and storage.
- Deep technical expertise on Mysql partitioning, configuring the data files and log files for optimal performance.
- Expertise in upgrade to Enterprise Mysql 5.5.27.
- HA level expertise on Load balancer and proxy usage.
- Hand on backup and recovery for databases.
- Good understanding of VM.
- Develop and support MySQL database replication.
- Monitor and optimize MySQL database performance and capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot database issues, maintain database systems availability and scalability.

Requirements:

- Min 2 years of experience as a DBA or equivalent.
- Certified MySQL DBA is a PLUS.
- Demonstrated experience with MySQL database design, implementation, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Managing large scale database system is a PLUS.
- Demonstrated experience with Open Source/Linux development and production environment.
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or Information Technology.
- Possess creative ability, credibility, self-confidence and Independent.
- Good team player with strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking capabilities.
