Job Title: Retail Planning Executive
Location:  Baku, Azerbaijan

To assist in developing and supporting implementation of channel plan, to achieve brand and company objectives of volume, market share, distribution, target consumer communication, ensuring activities implementation through cycle planning process in line with Brand and Trade Marketing strategies


Principal Accountabilities


• Act as a bridge between Brand & Trade Marketing Teams, interact with them from the early planning stage & coordinate planning, implementation & evaluation of cycle activities
• Work closely with Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing Field Force & Marketing Finance teams to ensure cycle plan reflects optimum workload for the filed force, maximum impact of the brand projects and cycle activities
• Work out cycle Instructions followed by cycle evaluations. Monitor implementation of core & cycle tasks and flag the issues on time
• Manage data entries & data entry process
• Assist Trade Development Executive in development of the Activity Recommendation Forms & Business Cases
• Support Reporting & Analysis executive in development of the Trade Coverage Plan
• Support Reporting & Analysis executive in creation of various reports.
• Ensure all the documents are raised and approved as per BAT (Procurement & Marketing Finance) policies
• Coordination of the process related to RQI (Updated brands list, sending samples, SLA, budget etc)
• To pay regular market visits to understand BAT & the competition brands’ performance, specifics of the trade marketing & BAT-Distributor way of working
• Assist Trade Development Executive in development of the In Store Furniture installation plan, monitor implementation on regular basis
• Provide input into cycle plan & assist Trade Development Executive in cycle plan grid update
• Checking all brand-related communication materials / Artworks in local language & making sure they are in line with CORA or Legal requirements
• Follow up the agency on consumer contacts database update. Additionally, ensure weekly update (completed data cards) is received from Area Managers, passed to the agency and status report circulated among relevant parties
• Update all inflow, outflow and stock of the central warehouse by SKU in BAT report
• Update Running rates report by region, channel and SKU
• Update all inflow, stock and sales of Depots by SKU in Finished Goods Movement file
• Other tasks as assigned

Knowledge and Skills

• Solid Field experience as Trade Marketing Representative in FMCG company
• University degree Marketing or Economics
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Knowledge on consumer and retail segmentation
• Ability of the retail planning and good analytical skills
• Advanced computer skills – Excel, Word, Power Point
• Good communication skills, team-oriented, good influencing skills
