SECONDARY MATCH TEACHER

We invite candidates with higher education to apply for the Secondary Math Teacher at the Modern Educational Complex named after Heydar Aliyev. We are searching for a dedicated and experienced Math Teacher to join our team. As a Math Teacher, you will be required to deliver lessons that develop students' theoretical and applied mathematical skills. You will also be responsible for assigning homework, grading assignments and quizzes, and documenting students' progress.

To be successful as a Math Teacher, you should possess a thorough understanding of effective teaching practices. Our ideal candidate will be able to create a stimulating learning environment that is sensitive to students' psychosocial needs.

CANDIDACY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in Mathematics, or equivalent.
• Excellent Azerbaijani/English/speaking and writing skills, Russian language is desirable.
• At least 3-5 years proven experience as a Math Teacher. International school or English-instruction private school is an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, flexible disposition.
• A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching.
• Ability to work with enthusiasts who are aged 11 to 18 years and work as a team in the team;
• Attending meetings with parents and staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students' understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
• Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
• Develop curricula and training materials to ensure compliance with the requirements and guidelines of the school curriculum.
• Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
• Grading assignments and quizzes in a timely manner
• Documenting and reporting on students' progress.
• Provide meaningful and timely feedback on student achievement.
• Employment involves a full-time job.
