1. Company Information:

In March 2015 the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and KBR announced an agreement to establish a new engineering and support Services Company in Azerbaijan. The legal entity name of the new company is SOCAR-KBR LLC and provides design, engineering, technical, procurement, construction supervision and project management services for projects across the upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas sectors, in the Azerbaijan – Georgia – Turkey (AGT) region. The key objective of this strong partnership is to create a world class Azerbaijan-based EPCM services company that will utilize the strengths of both organizations and deliver top quality results by utilizing, developing and promoting Azerbaijani national content. The company has a long-term commitment from both organizations.

2. Position Title: Drilling Interface Manager / Engineer
    Work Location: Baku

3. Role synopsis:

Successful candidate shall manage all drilling interfaces between the design contractor (SOCAR-KBR) and the client appointed drilling contractor. Candidate shall have previous drilling experience in a design and/or engineering management type role and be fully familiar with drilling facilities, their systems and equipment on fixed offshore platforms

4. Key accountabilities:

 Participate in project reviews and monitor actions to Client and Engineering.
 Close communication with project management in Baku.
 Risk identification and reporting according to project execution model.
 Responsible for checking topside design against Company, Authority and Class requirements.
 Managing Engineering/Procurement/Construction/Commissioning interfaces: physical, logistical, informational, organizational and any other internal to project/operations issues.

5. Essential education, experience and job requirements:

 Documented experience and good understanding of International legislation within the above-mentioned systems on drilling rigs.
 Documented project experience on offshore platforms.
 Relevant experience with drilling rigs.
 Document project experience on Modular platform.
 Project Management in Azerbaijan.
 Technical University degree or a minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
