Job Title: QA/QC and Certification Coordinator

Location: Azerbaijan, Onshore

A vacancy has arisen externally for a QA/QC and Certification Coordinator as part of the Onshore Business Unit and is available for Azerbaijani citizens only.

This role will be part of the Supply Chain Team, within the Warehouse Department, reporting to Warehouse Team Leader.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that proper QA/QC and certification requirements are verified at receipt of new spares and equipment in the Warehouse prior to being stored on the shelf and being processed in the system (as per protocol). Within transition from one ERP system to another, to ensure that data is technically cleansed and matched one to one from one system to another.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Work as a technical member in the Warehouse team to ensure accurate QA/QC records are maintained for all spares and equipment received in the Warehouse.
• Review and update QA/QC aspects of existing spares and equipment database (certification, data book etc. requirements) in order to maintain consistent and verified data.
• Work in line with Technical QA/QC Coordinator in the office for validating and challenging information received as part of cataloguing requests from end users to ensure high quality data records can be created within the agreed framework.
• Develop, implement and maintain spreadsheets databases required for tracking equipment QA/QC needs.
• Support end users to receive good technical and QA/QC input to enhance and improve the database of material and equipment records for Company to achieve improved analytics capabilities to be used both for internal and external needs.
• Physically check spares and equipment received from suppliers to ensure that QA/QC requirements are adhered to.
• Provide support to on/offshore Maintenance and Materials function.
• Deliver allocated targets from the global supply chain annual business plan.
• Assist the supply chain leadership to deliver the allocated targets in the annual business plan.
• Seek assistance from the supply chain leadership to deliver improvements in the monthly KPI reporting.
• Make contribution to the creation of supply chain procedures and their ongoing revision to reflect changes in business practice.
• Meet the required Company policies including requirements for ISO Standards.

Key Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in Information Processing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering etc.
• Minimum 3 years of experience within an Oil and Gas Industry.
• Knowledge of SCM policy, practice, procedure & principles is desirable.
• Good communication skills.
• Competence with SCM methodologies is desirable
• Well organized, proactive and a good communicator.
• SAP Skills in supply chain related transactions are desirable.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English languages (both verbal and written).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• SAP knowledge is desirable.
• Experience within an equivalent role is advantageous.
