Junior SME Development Expert
EKVITA is looking for Junior SME Development Expert for the EU funded project.
The expected timing (implementation period) of the assignment will be 10 days between March 2020 and July 2020.
The overall objective of the Project launched on 7 May 2019, is to contribute to business development, employment generation across all economic regions of Azerbaijan and to raise rural livelihoods and the quality of life in rural areas. The purpose of this contract is to to provide the staff and stakeholders of business support organisations with the methods and materials to respond to the sector’s stated needs.
Specific responsibilities
1. Preparing a mentoring support module on best practice in the subject area.
2. Preparing and agenda and materials for a training course on the subject to be distributed to SME support organisations and vocational schools.
3. Disseminating 1,000 copies of the modules and training materials.
4. Develop and execute a strategy for discovering and securing new business opportunities either locally, regionally, or nationally.
5. Develop negotiation strategies by evaluating risks and potentials
Candidate Requirements
• University degree in a related subject
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Review EU documented collaboration efforts and other background information
• Knowledge of marketing and advertising strategies
• Sales experience
• Experience working in a start-up or with new business development
• Minimum 5 years of professional working experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the area of business development support
• Working experience in an EU funded project
