Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) is Azerbaijan’s national tourism organization. Our core tasks include the management of the "Holiday in Azerbaijan" brand, innovative marketing in the most internationally promising markets and the transfer of our knowledge of guests and markets to the domestic tourism industry. In this way we make an important contribution to the competitiveness of the holiday destination Azerbaijan.
IT Manager is a mid-senior position with the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB).
The ideal candidate has a passion for state-of-the-art technology development, a strong background in leading technology infrastructure management/expansion for both headquarter and regional offices and clear understanding of Network, Server and Virtualization systems.
Duties:
• Manage the team of IT Support Specialists and System Administrators
• Responsible for the continuous operation, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all current IT Environment including Network Elements (LAN/WAN), Servers and Virtualization Environment, IP-Phone infrastructure, Security Systems
• Oversees all user support activities to support Head office and Branches
• Create and Manage Logical Access Control Process for the IT Environment
• Ensuring that the network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure is up and running.
• Involve in Development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
• Create and Manage systems maintenance processes, such as system back-up, recovery and file maintenance
• Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system
• Support IT Development Projects by defining technology environment requirements
• Manage hardware and software vendor relationships
• Providing Reports to the Senior Management
Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent education and experience
• Progressive IT experience 5+ years, including experience in managing team members (2+ years)
• Organizational and time management skills
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and evaluative skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong experience in configuring, monitoring, and supporting server and network infrastructure, Hands on Experience with Network Administration/VPN and knowledge on Backup systems as well as Virtualization (VmWare).
• Understanding of Microsoft Server Environment (configuration, administration, Troubleshooting AD, DNS, DHCP)
• Knowledge on Operating Systems (Linux/Windows)
• Knowledge on Information Security and Industry Best Practices
• Certificates on related fields is advantage
• Excellent Azeri, English verbal communication and written skills
