Position: Project Engineer / Field Engineer

• Follow up with construction team in keeping with the deliverable and relevant agreed milestones
• Liaise with our consortium partner engineers on work request and SoW readiness and deliveries
• Coordinate on site subcontractors works based on scope assigned and schedule agreed
• Troubleshoot with site team in installability of constructability issues that may arise using the expertise of Consortium site team including BoS engineering and fabrication teams
• Report to Project Manager on day-to-day activity status on site for each assigned and supported contract
• Provide Weekly Fabrication and Readiness status of all Marine and Subsea Site activities
• Attend Fabrication and Engineering weekly meetings with Planner and Project Engineer
• Draft scope of work to support subcontractors requisition
• Work closely with Storage and Preservations team during the handover of asset and equipment going offshore to ensure their readiness for load out
• Provide cover for other engineer(s) working in Onshore M&SS support team

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in field of Marine and Subsea fabrication, offshore experience would be an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree as minimum academic degree in Structural/mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Have worked in similar environment i.e. onshore marine support or equivalent for minimum 2 years.
• Good track record in field engineering, procedure writing and planning and exhibit the following skills and abilities:
• Must be able to work independently and showing initiative in project issue resolution.
• Leadership are not a must but can be advantageous, so a proven record in that area could be positive asset.
• Good organizational skills.
• Proven communicator at all levels.
• Adequate IT skills like good literacy with MS Office package. Good knowledge of MS/Project and ACAD is an advantage.
