Job Title: Workpack Engineer
Location: Azerbaijan, Onshore

A vacancy has been raised externally for a Workpack Engineer position (fixed- term, under ESWO) as part of the onshore Business Unit.

Reporting to the Company Maintenance Team Leader / Shutdown Planner as appropriate, the Workpack Engineer is responsible for preparing and presenting the Integrated Shutdown Workpacks for the Company managed activities before, during and after the shutdown.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Responsible for preparing and presenting the Integrated shutdown work packs, covering all Company managed activities, to the platform management (both crews, where practicable) during the pre-shutdown preparatory phase.
• Knowledge of and compliance with client, industry and international specifications and standards.
• Laisse with Rig Managers, Onshore/ Offshore Maintenance Superintendents, BP Project Engineers and WTL's/WSL’s, to ensure that Operations, Maintenance and Engineering are aware of all the shutdown work scope activities to be carried out during the shutdown period.
• Review of vendor workpacks to ensure the scope of work is correct and all pre/commissioning paperwork is in place.
• Responsible for ensuring that all permit requirements have been prepared and are placed in workpack.
• Responsible for ensuring all required lifting plans are reviewed and placed in workpack.
• Responsible for ensuring required GRA’S (Generic Risk Assessment) are prepared for the required work scope and placed in workpack.
• Responsible to check material requirements for offshore work scope are placed in workpack.
• Responsible for ensuring all required drawing i.e., P&ID’s, Hydraulic schematic, E&I interconnecting drawing, general arrangements etc. are placed in the workpack.
• Responsible for ensuring the vendor commissioning procedure are included to the workpack, completed and signed off on work scope completion.
• Responsible for compiling all GOC (Guideline of Certification) documentation and ensuring all documentation is completed offshore and signed before vendor de-mobs from the platform.
• Responsible for ensuring all handover documents are completed/ signed off by all appropriate parties to allow equipment to be handed back to operations.
• Responsible to ensure any PM (Preventative Maintenance) tools are incorporated within shutdown period and workpack.
• Travel offshore to complete all GOC certification during shutdowns.
• Download all documentation into BP database on completion of Shutdown.

Key Skills/Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge / experience of operation and maintenance of automated 5th Generation Cyber rigs.
• Must be able to pass BP GOC (guidance on certification) course for multi discipline skills-Structural, Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation.
• Extensive knowledge of Database and Project Management systems.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP or Maximo systems.
• Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Fluent knowledge of English language.
