Junior Training Expert
EKVITA is looking for Junior Training Expert for the EU funded project.
The expected timing (implementation period) of the assignment will be 20 days between November 2019 and August 2020.
The overall objective of the Project launched on 7 May 2019, is to contribute to business development, employment generation across all economic regions of Azerbaijan and to raise rural livelihoods and the quality of life in rural areas. The purpose of this contract is to support Ministry of Economy and its relevant structures to provide improved support for entrepreneurship and SME development in rural areas.
Specific responsibilities
• In consultation with Ministry of Economy, identify a group of staff from local business support organisations
• Prepare a Trainer Training module on women’s’ entrepreneurship and deliver a pilot version to the selected trainers
• Support the trainers in the delivery of nine courses to 100 women in 3 locations
• The training materials will be copied and distributed nationally to all local business support organisations
• Training of Trainers (ToT) module addressed to selected staff of state agencies
• Pilot ToT sessions for future trainers
• 9 Training workshops in at least 3 regions with the participation of at least 100 women
• 300 copies of training materials produced and distributed to advisory/information offices supporting business development in rural areas: Dissemination Report
Candidate Requirements
• University degree in a related subject
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Minimum 5 years of professional working experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the area of SME/entrepreneur training
• Working experience in an EU funded project
• Experience of working in Azerbaijan, Russia or Turkey will be an advantage.
