Vacancy for Finance Director

A foods manufacturing company is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Finance Director.

Responsibilities:

- Examine and analyze financial data for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain the financial health of the organization
- Check the conformance of the reports to the local legislation and the company's policies and procedures
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget
- Analyze costs, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
- Develop trends and projections of the firm’s financial resources
- Development and review Company Accounting Policies and Guidelines
- Implement effective internal financial controls
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives
- Improve and manage the development of accounting and production system in 1C 8.3
- Design management reports as required by the shareholders
- Prepare monthly management reports and annual financial statements
- Train and coach finance team to carry forward all processes outlined above
- Report to General Director/Shareholders

Requirements:

- Proven experience of minimum of 4 years as a Finance Manager or in a relevant role
- Experience in production industry is a must
- Experience in implementation of 1C accounting software
- Knowledge of the best accounting practices (Management accounting is a plus)
- Proficiency in using office (MS Excel) and accounting applications (1C is a must)
- Good knowledge of Azerbaijani, Russian and working knowledge of English
- Preference is given to candidates with Big4 experience (Senior Manager or Manager Assurance Services)
- Knowledge and experience in implementation of IFRS is an advantage
- Professional qualification such as ACCA/CPA or similar is considered an advantage
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage, guide and lead employees
- Preferred age of 30 - 45

Salary range: 4000-5000 AZN
