Accounting assistant

Role, duties and responsibilities

 Assist with day-to-day operations of the Finance department, including filing, report generation, budget review, etc.
 Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
 Provide assistance to prepare profit and loss accounts sheets
 Provide assistance to prepare financial statements according to company policies
 Processing payments and invoices accurately and timely as per company procedures.
 Prepare financial documents such as invoices, bills and etc.
 Prepare period end journals for prepayments, accruals, commission payments and etc.
 Perform journal entries as per established and statutory accounting standards.
 Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas

Common Requirements

 High school diploma in Accounting or related field preferred
 Understanding of accounting principles
 Experience in using Excel and other accounting software
 Accounting qualifications and certifications is preferred
 Minimum 1 years practical experience in related field.
 Fluent in Azeri, intermediate level of Russian and English.
