Accounting assistant
Role, duties and responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day operations of the Finance department, including filing, report generation, budget review, etc.
Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
Provide assistance to prepare profit and loss accounts sheets
Provide assistance to prepare financial statements according to company policies
Processing payments and invoices accurately and timely as per company procedures.
Prepare financial documents such as invoices, bills and etc.
Prepare period end journals for prepayments, accruals, commission payments and etc.
Perform journal entries as per established and statutory accounting standards.
Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
Common Requirements
High school diploma in Accounting or related field preferred
Understanding of accounting principles
Experience in using Excel and other accounting software
Accounting qualifications and certifications is preferred
Minimum 1 years practical experience in related field.
Fluent in Azeri, intermediate level of Russian and English.
