HSE advisor

Responsibilities:

• Assist HSE manager on inspection and gap analysis of HSE procedures, documents and provide compliance review with local legislation and best practices in all Portfolios and Business Units;
• Coordinate the implementation of relevant HSE programs, processes and procedures across Gilan Holding;
• Monitor HSE objectives and targets across the Gilan Holding;
• Keep up to date with new HSE legislation and best practice developments that affect the organization, ensuring that when necessary, policies, procedures and processes are appropriately updated;
• Keep up to date Safety Event Tracking System;
• Assist HSE manager on development and implementation of HSE Plans and emergency response plans that comply with company policies and procedures as well as legal requirements;
• Assist HSE manager on investigating/recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health prepare report;
• To control the effectiveness of corrective actions, reporting HSE manager if required;
• Ensure the effective communication of lessons learned;
• Assists Portfolio/BU work site HSE representatives and line management in the development of worksite HSE;
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of subcontractors on the basis of their HSE performance;
• Drawing up safe operational practices and making necessary changes;
• Writing reports, bulletins and newsletters;
• Making presentations to groups of employees/managers;
• Providing health and safety meetings and training courses for employees;
• Liaising with relevant authorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree;
• IOSH or NEBOSH certificate;
• Knowledge of HSE legislation, guidance and best practice;
• Certificate by MES;
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 / 14001 / 9001;
• Proficient of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
