Job Title: Trade Analyst

Analyzes financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying the data.

Areas of Responsibility Include:

Job Role Responsibilities: 

- Reviewing trade data to ensure its accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly dashboards and reports.
- Participate in business review/commercial meetings; identify trends, out-of- Stock issues, and opportunities for optimizing sales and margin.
- Perform Inventory data analysis to provide insights into category growth, promotional performance.
- Provide analytic leadership including, but not limited to, business case support, business level productivity, and sales results, annual plan forecast process.
- Review the accuracy of back margin calculations.
- Analyze and report on collection performance of back margins.
- Analyze and report on ageing of stock and drive the sell through of slow - moving stock.
- Help analyze business performance providing meaningful and insightful reports on which the management team can make informed decisions
- Support the continued enhancement and evolution of company analytics capabilities to a best- in-class level.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations and drive new analytics initiatives that contribute to business goals.

Position Qualification

 3-5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience.
 Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics are preferred major fields.
 Proven work experience in a quantitatively - heavy role.
 Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
 Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
 Proficient in computer software programs such as, word processors, spreadsheet programs, and database systems
