The ideal candidate has a passion for state-of-the-art technology development, a strong background in IT Project Management especially in software development projects with deep understanding of Software Development and Project Management Methodologies.
Brief:

We are looking for an experienced IT PMO Manager to lead project coordinators and business analysts, coordinate IT/software/web development projects by defining project scope and schedule, while focusing regular and timely deliverables, to ensure the delivery of every project on time, within budget and scope.

Duties:

• Provide day to day management for the IT PMO, leading IT Project team and support the leadership by managing the IT projects from idea generation until to the final product.
• Maintain and improve a robust governance process that captures, reports and escalates project status across all measurable project characteristics, informing senior stakeholders in a timely manner
• Manage and coordinate stakeholder engagement and communication across projects on a timely basis and helping to implement an effective system of project governance.
• Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, and manage the process to develop and design high level structure of the requirements in technical perspective
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive Project and Tender Documentation for IT projects (RFI, RFP) and perform technical evaluation of the proposed solutions
• Provide the required hands-on project management, cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
• Coordinate project activities, resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Develop a detailed projects and activity plan for all projects to control and track the overall progress

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in project management, computer science or equivalent education and experience
• A proven track record in IT Projects including 3+ years as an IT Project Manager.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
• Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate project tools (Jira / Microsoft Project/Visio)
• Balanced business/technical background:
o Sufficient level of technical background to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
o Ability to transform ideas from stakeholders into technical requirements
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels
• Strong Time Management skills
• Ability to create structured and organized project documents, user manuals and reports
• Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
• Certificates on related fields is advantage
• Broad Experience on preparing Tender documentations (RFP, RFI, Technical Specifications Document)
• Excellent Azeri, English verbal communication and written skills
