Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) is Azerbaijan’s national tourism organization. Our core tasks include the management of the "Holiday in Azerbaijan" brand, innovative marketing in the most internationally promising markets and the transfer of our knowledge of guests and markets to the domestic tourism industry. In this way we make an important contribution to the competitiveness of the holiday destination Azerbaijan.

Currently we are looking for an experienced Eco-Tourism Product Manager (Eko-Turizm Məhsulu üzrə Mütəxəssis) to develop eco-tourism products and experiences within the Khinalig Reserve team. The successful candidate will work on both research/analytical initiatives as well as on the product design to create a cohesive tourism product. We value creativity, initiative and a work environment that promotes cooperative effort.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Provides expertise and knowledge about the Reserve area and its geography, history, culture and tourism potential
• Works on vertical development of various eco-tourism and agricultural products, such as teas, herbs, bee products, dairy products, wool, etc.
• Develops tourist experiences that can be built around the mentioned products
• Collaborates closely with the local people to help them in research and support in further business set-up
• Supports the local community in establishing direct connections to tourism related service providers
• Helps developing certain business and tourism skills of the locals by providing regular trainings
• Monitors and evaluates the outcomes of the marketed products and provides recommendations
• Works with different channels to promote the local eco-tourism production
• Proposes special product experience tours and facilitates the organization of such tours

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience of product development in the sector of eco-tourism or agriculture;
• Bachelor degree in a related field such as history, culture management, geography, business, etc.;
• Ready to move to Khinalig;
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and evaluation skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent Azerbaijani verbal and written communication skills, good English skills spoken and written.
