Direct reports: Junior Electrical Engineer, Chef Electrical Engineer.
Position : Electrical Technician

Job Title: Electrical Technician

Areas of Responsibility Include: All Bravo Projects.

Job Role Responsibilities: 

 Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems.
 Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
 Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
 Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
 Determine the causes of system and equipment failures.
 Advise the management team of critical systems that could be hazardous.

Position Qualification:

Knowledge & Skill:

 Proven experience as an electrician.
 Experience in industrial electrical systems.
 Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
 Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
 Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
 Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight
 Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician
 Good time-management skills
 Must have a valid Driver's License
 Driving skills of mechanical transmission
