Summary of Responsibilities

Under the direction and supervision of the Operations Supervisor undertakes the assembly and testing of downhole tools and associated accessories.
Perform workshop maintenance operations associated with variety of downhole tools. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Perform and assist in the preparation of general maintenance duties, tool preparations for jobs, either at the customer location or TAM base/office.
 Upload job information to Global Service Database upon completion of each service job.
 Prepare and assist with the preparation of picking lists, test and shipping instructions or any other paperwork as part of standard company operation files requested by Operations Department.
 Prepare and assist with the preparation of CST, MEL, MR or any other paperwork as part of standard operational procedures requested by customers when required.
 Check shipping ticket for outgoing goods; organize domestic and international equipment transportation (i.e. equipment transportation from company base to customer site or to another international company location, etc.)
 Handle stock levels, perform inventory control in Baku and prepare required paperwork.
 Assist engineering department with post job follow-up.
 Assist company personnel in service-related or sales issues or questions when required.
 Responsible for workshop activities, equipment preparation; assembling, servicing and maintaining of downhole tools; load outs, inspections, tidiness and maintenance of the equipment.
 Contact local vendors/service providers to source material, equipment and service to support Baku operations when/if required.
 Coordinate local safety/quality related issues with Company QHSE department and ensure all are in compliance with company/customer requirements.
 Responsible for job preparation duties at 3rd party locations i.e. customer warehouse, another service provider’s base etc.  Report 3rd party activities to manager weekly as required.
 Supervise and assist with 3rd party inspections of company/customer equipment at company base or other 3rd party locations; ensure all inspection reports and inspection release certificates are received and saved to project folder.
 Perform hydro testing of product to confirm items operate within specification.
 Process documentation in compliance with workshop procedures.
 Show commitment to all QHSE policies and procedures by participating in team risk and COSHH assessments, safety meetings, quality meetings and observing good housekeeping practices.
 Assist in stock take cycle counts as directed.
 Travel to 3rd party workshops to supervise make up and/or installation of company product.
 Attend tool box talks.
 Perform facility and general maintenance duties as required and notify supervisor of any equipment maintenance issues.
 Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
 Responsible for cleaning, deburring and preparing components for returning to stock.
 Responsible for preparing and painting components/assemblies for dispatch.
 Carry out forklift/lifting duties if required; load/unload boxes and baskets.
 Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Desired Skills:

Previous experience in:

• Oil field service company
• Logistics
• Inventory control

Education/Experience:

Minimum High School degree and minimum of 3 years’ previous experience and/or training in oilfield equipment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
Experience in a manufacturing and/or service environment preferred.

Other Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to work under a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings as they pertain to assembly of inflatable and swellable packers or related downhole tools is essential.
- Must have knowledge of basic general oilfield hydraulics and calculations.
- Basic to intermediate skills in MS Office products and MRP, or related systems.
- Familiarity with computer networks and email.
- Must hold Azerbaijan Citizenship.
- Must be able to communicate fluent in both written and spoken in Azeri, English and Russian.
- Service company background preferred but not essential.
- Valid Forklift Truck Certificate is preferred but not essential.
