Corporate Scrum Master

Job Description:

• Coordinates the work of teams to enhance performance by following up tasks/duties, advising on issues or problems, and checking deliverables.
•  Follows up with team’s complaints and issues, facilitates solutions.
• Optimizes backlog, prevent overload of  backlog, monitors burncharts,  Kanban Boards.
• Takes steps to improve work process and increases team’s productivity.
• Takes steps to adapt tools more rapidly.
• Organizes and manages Kanban and Scrum ceremonies
• Advocates team in issues, related to including new tasks in backlog, helps team prioritize items in backlog.
• Provides coaching, facilitates events as needed, removes impediments to progress.
• Shields team members from outside interruptions and builds team consensus.
• Manages the Agile Tool for tracking work (JIRA)
• Leads the team in adopting the Agile principles
• İdentifies problems, impediments, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions, and facilitates quick resolution
• Assists the team with implementing effective agile disciplinary practices
• Understands basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
• Protects the team from distractions and unplanned work
• Creates metrics to provide teams and the organization with relevant feedback
• Guides the team on self-organising to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks
• Builds a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving
• Supports and educates the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog

Requirements:

• Knowledge of company products, services, policies, and procedures
• Knowledge of team’s data, and results
• Skill in completing multiple tasks at once
• Skill in identifying teams problems
• Ability to meet team’s goals
• Ability to organize activities, such as daily stand up’s, sprint planning, Sprint Retrospective
