XXI Century International Education and Innovation Centre is established in 2001 as one of the first private schools in the country and now one of the leading education centres which provides the education for 3-17 year old children through Azerbaijani, Russian and English streams via local and international curriculums such as Cambridge and IB.

Marketing and Communications Specialist

The Marketing and Communications specialist is a new position at the XXI Century International Education and Innovation Centre, reporting to the Managing Director to work collaboratively to implement both internal and external marketing, communication and event strategies to advance the mission of the school.

In coordination with the other units, this position writes, edits, and designs a variety of materials in electronic and print format, web content, social media postings, brochures, event invitations, flyers and promotional posters and digital advertising, web articles and news releases.

This role will also be responsible for coordinating special events for the school and will maintain the primary responsibility for overseeing and implementing scheduling, design and budget administration relating to events. In addition, this person is expected to establish and manage the relationships with potential customers and other stakeholders.

Duties:

• Development and implementation of marketing strategy and brand management.
• Develop overarching marketing strategies that include websites, social media, print and direct marketing.
• Developing and implementing strategic vision for the school’s educational activities.
• Establishes and maintains cooperative linkages with external stakeholders.
• Develop calendar of marketing and outreach events, such as professional conferences or year-round programming, prioritizing events that support marketing objectives.
• Develop, execute and oversee written communications, including presentations, news stories, web content, talking points, correspondence and social media post.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and relevant experience. Business related education is desired.
• Previous experience in product, program and/or services marketing.
• Ability to drive cross-functional groups toward a common goal.
• General experience with market research and data analysis.
• Demonstrated problem solver.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Azerbaijani, English/Russian is required.
• Proficient in spreadsheets
