Position – Sr. Buyer (Downstream Project)

PROKON LLC is pleased to announce the following vacancy for its upcoming DOWNSTREAM project. The period of the project is 3 years, during 2019-2022.
Job summary:
The Senior Buyer will be responsible for developing and strengthening the customer relations, increasing the volume of opportunities and cross sales though identifying, screening and promoting new suppliers, products to the customers. He will also be responsible for driving improved supplier service levels, negotiating terms and conditions favorable to the Company and promoting them to the customers, minimizing risk while improving business results, standardizing and automating business and procurement best practice processes.
Required qualification and experience:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent (Engineering background is preferred.)
- At least 5 years of a continuous professional work experience at the same position. Solid work experience at international companies is preferredable.
- Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Azerbaijan and English languages.
- CIPS certification is preferredable.
- EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Constructionand Construction) experience is preferred.
- Local and international Oil & Gas and Construction market knowledge is preferred.
